In a circular container with small holes around, suppose there is a CO2 generator at the middle. In which area would the most number of CO2 particles go out from the container? (Lower part? Upper part? No difference?) Does the molecular weight effect this movement?

Answer: CO2 is heavier than air. Without sufficient disturbances CO2 will mainly concentrate in the lower part of the container. Therefore, most of CO2 molecules will go out in the lower part of the container.
