The dry ice at room temperature will convert to liquid. The pressure above the liquid will be 830 psi (approx. 56 times higher than atmospheric pressure). As long as liquid carbon dioxide is present in the container the pressure will be 830 psi at room temperature. Ordinary containers can not handle such pressures. They will explode and create shrapnel of solid carbon dioxide if it is in the container. Putting dry ice into closed container (glass, plastic, metal etc.) is exceedingly dangerous and can result in severe personal injury or death.
