Acid rain is a rain with a water acidity of more than pH>7. It is caused by the acidic oxides (NOx, SO2) which a soluble in water.These oxides are present in the air due to natural process (volcanic activity – SO2) or human activity (industrial NOx and SO2 charges into the air).
