The human body is consisted of 60% of water, 34% of organic matter, 6% -
from inorganic. The main chemical elements that form the organic
substances are carbon, hydrogen and oxygen; in addition, the composition
of organic substances are nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur. The
composition of inorganic substances of the human body consists of 22
compulsory chemical elements - calcium, phosphorus, oxygen, sodium,
magnesium, sulfur, boron, chlorine, potassium, vanadium, manganese,
iron, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, molybdenum, chromium, silicon,
iodine, fluorine, selenium.
These chemicals are divided into
macronutrients (mass fraction of
element in the body than 2.10%), trace
elements (10-3-10-5%) and
ultramicroelements (below 10-5%)
