HOW CAN I REMOVE BITREX FROM denatured ethanol 96%?

The easiest way to remove BITREX from denatured ethanol is distillation. BITREX remains in the distillation residue, and pure alcohol will be distilled off.
Distilling denatured alcohol will remove enough impurities for many lab applications. Further purification steps could include passing the alcohol over activated carbon.
