n (C6H12O6) = CM x V = 0.010 x 0.4 = 0.004 mol

n = m / M

M (C6H12O6) = 180.2 g/mol

m (C6H12O) = n x M = 0.004 x 180.2 = 0.72 g

0.72 g of C6H12O6 and 400 ml of water are required to prepare 400 ml of 10 mmol/litre glucose (C6H12O6) solution.
