Tell me all about ‘Lead Bismuthate glass’
what’s its chemical properties
and chemical formula
Lead-bismuthate glass is the lead bismuthate with the formula Pb(BiO3)2. It forms a pentavalent structure where six oxygen atoms are coordinated octahedrally to both the bismuth and lead atoms. Due to the formation of negatively charged layers of bismuth and oxygen and positively charged layers of lead atoms, lead-bismuth glass is a semiconductor used in industry and electronics.
