Distribution coefficient = solubility in organic phase / solubility in aqueous phase

Solubility in water = 5 / 90 = 0.056 g/ml

Solubility in organic phase = Distribution coefficient x solubility in aqueous phase = 15 x 0.056 = 0.84 g/ml

Mass of compound A in chloroform = 0.84 x 90 = 75.6 g
