Hence,

Mass of solution = (Mass of HNO3 × 100%) / (%HNO3)

Mass of solution = (10 g × 100%) / (19%) = 52.63 g


Mass of solution = Solution volume × Density

Hence,

Solution volume = Mass of solution / Density

Solution volume = (52.63 g) / (1.11 g/mL) = 47.4 mL


Answer: 47.4 mL of dilute HNO3
