How can we tell the temperature of the substance as it is being heated by the Bunsen burner?

Expert's answer

A Bunsen burner, named after Robert Bunsen, is a kind of gas burner used as laboratory equipment; it produces a single open gas flame, and is used for heating, sterilization, and combustion.

The hottest part of the Bunsen flame, which is found just above the tip of the primary flame, reaches about 1,500 °C.

The temperature of the heated liquid can be directly measuted by termometer.
