Hi all,
We have been doing an experiment surrounding measuring the enthalpy change of a sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid heats of neutralisation reaction at a range of different initial temperatures, from 5 to 70 degrees.

It turns out the trend is exponential - that is when the initial temperature is plotted on the x axis and the enthalpy change on the y axis, the line of best fit is exponential. We have been assured this is correct, but can't quite grasp why. Would any of you be able to give us a hand?

Thanks!
What type of mixture are separated by the technique of crystallization ?
The molar viscosity of a liquid is given as- (a) Product of molecular wt &viscosity (b) Product of molecular volume &viscosity (c) Product of molecular density &viscosity (d) Product of molecular surface &viscosity. Which is correct ?
1. How would you synthesise chromyl chloride (CrO2Cl2)? What precautions might you take? Is it likely to be a liquid or a solid at ordinary temperatures, and what is its likely color..
how to find molefraction when molality is given for an aq. solution...?
i have read that actvation energy does not change with temperature on wikipedia bt i m a bit confused about this. activation energy is the diffrence between threshold energy and average kinetic energy. if we increase temperature the average kinetic energy of molecules increases so can activation energy be independant of temperature?Your question (max 1024 symbols)
explain why the energy level of an atom becomes energy band in solids?
While ionic mobility increases with temperature, both the transport number t(H+) and t(Cl-) in aqueous solution of HCl approach 0.5 as temperature is increased. - Justify or Criticize.

(H+) & (Cl-) are in suffix of t [transport number]
