Hello,
We are taking a class on polymeric membrane synthesis by phase separation.
Because of the range diffrence on molecular dimension between the polymer we are deviated from the ideal behavior.
We are working on the Flory-Huggins theory, and we add a parameter X due to the diffrent possible combinations to form the polymeric chain, so does this parameter is directly linked to the polymer?
Can you please provide me with a good explanation of this theory?

thank you
