The molar entropy of evaporation of various substances at a normal boiling point is a constant value and is equal to the Trouton constant:
"\\Delta S \\upsilon = \\Delta H\\upsilon \/ T = K trouton"
K Trouton = 85-88 J/(mol*K)
In a slightly different formulation, the Truton rule allows us to estimate the enthalpy of evaporation at the boiling point
"\\Delta H\\upsilon = 88 T\\upsilon"
