Solution: - Intensive property: It is independent of mass or material present in

system.e.g, temperature

Extensive property: It is dependent of mass or material present in system. e.g, volume.

Isothermal property:Iso means same and thermal means temperature. That means a

process is taken place at constant temperature, is called isothermal process. In this process

internal energy of the system remains fixed.

Isochoric: In this process volume of the system remains fixed. That means volume change

in this process=0;Work done=0

cyclic process: If a system is come back to its initial state after different processes, it is

called cyclic process. Total work done is not equal to zero.

reversible and irreversible: In reversible process system is always in equilibrium .That

means any change is occurring can be reversed in this process.

In irreversible process any change is occurring in forward direction can not be reversed . It is

a spontaneous process.

path process: This type of process is occurring in more than one path to reach initial to

final state .Where change of some thermodynamic variables is same in all paths ,ia called

state function .If it is not same is called path function.
