How can methane (bottled @ 2000 psi) be drawn from the cylinder and heated to 400 K in lab safely? Seems the inital pressure drop from 2000 psi cylinder to 20 psi test tank causes extreme temperature drop. Tried running methane from 2000 psi cylinder through a steam heat exchanger, but can only heat methane to 350 K. What about using pressure to heat the methane?
The expert did excellent work as usual and was extremely helpful for me.
