Mole ratio is 1:1

ppm = ( m solute/m water) × 106

M solute = (ppm × m water)/106

= (601 × 1000)/106

= 0.601g

= 0.601g/23.0g

=0.02613 moles Na+

Now use sodium chloride's molar mass to determine how much you need

0.02613moles × 58.44 g

=1.527 g NaCl
