1) Relative atomic mass is the ratio of the weighted average of masses of all isotopes of an element in relation to the unified atomic mass unit, which equals 1/12 of the mass of an atom of Carbon-12 isotope.
2) Isotopes are forms of the same element that have the same number of protons and same chemical properties, but differ in numbers of neutrons in the nucleus and, therefore, in relative atomic masses.
