Question #130355

50.0-mL sample of 0.060 M NaCl and 0.080 M KI was titrated with 0.1000-M AgNO3, (Ksp for AgI and AgCl are 8.3*10-17 and 1.82*10-10, respectively). What volume of silver nitrate is required to reach he end point for chloride?

AgCl is more soluble than AgI, that’s why AgCl precipitates after AgI. So in our case both NaCl and KI are titrated.50*(0.06+0,08)/0,1=70 mL
