(1) Ammonium sulfate is a latent catalyst which may become active at approximately 110–150°C. Suitable organic salts are the urea salt of toluenesulfonic acid, the polyammonium salts of polycarboxylic acids such as the diammonium salts of citric acid, and the ammonium salts of maleic acid.

(2) DFT with COSMO was used to determine free energy differences for the reactions detected in the molecular dynamic simulations. In conclusion, new results and insight into the aquatic chemistry of the aluminum (chloro)hydroxides are provided.

(3) Zero decibels (0 dB) is the quietest sound audible to a healthy human ear. From there, every increase of 3 dB represents a doubling of sound intensity, or acoustic power.

(4)There is a linear correlation between the fabric wrinkle recovery angle and the reduction in the carbonyl band intensity of the treated cotton cured at increasing temperatures. We have compared glutaraldehyde with low- formaldehyde DMDHEU and nonformaldehyde DHDMI as crosslinking agents for cotton.
