A positive test with Lucas reagent indicates that A is a seconadty or tertiary alcohol, the time 5 min indicates that this alcohol is secodary. Also this test indicates that there are 6 or less carbon atoms in A.
Reaction of alcohol with PCl5 leads to formation of chloralkane (B).
Reaction of B with chlorobenzene and sodium with ether is Wurtz Fitting reaction leading to formation of alkylbenzene (C).
Alkylbenzene which is used for purest preparation of phenol. is cumene.
So, A - propan-2-ol, B is 2-chloropropane, C is cumene.
