i have to type up a 2 page double spaced paper that is based on the following question: Explain increasingly higher boiling points in Alkanes in terms of intermolecular forces.

Alkanes with longer chain forms a stronger connections with neighboringmolecules than alkanes with short connection. This is due to intermolecularinteraction For example, ethane has a higher boiling point than methane since it has more Van der Waals forces (intermolecular forces) with neighbouring molecules.
