A thermoplastic, or thermosoftening plastic, is a polymer that becomes pliable or mouldable above a specific temperature, and returns to a solid state upon cooling. A thermosetting resin, also known as a thermoset, is petrochemical material that irreversibly cures. It is obvious that thermosoftening is physical process, while thermosetting is a chemical process. Sometimes it can occur as the condesational process. Hence the answer on question is the thermosetting plastic.
