Thymidine-3’monophosphate can be obtained from nucleoside thymidine by its reaction with phosphoric acid. The scheme is shown in the picture. 

The mentioned glycoside contains covalent bonds including a glycosidic bond between the Nitrogen of its basic part and the Carbon of the carbohydrate part. After the reaction, a new type of covalent bond will appear - an ester bond, which will be formed between the Carbon of the carbohydrate part and the Oxygen of the phosphate part.
