sir, i have a big confusion how to convert a aldehyde into an alkane when a acid sensitive and base sensitive groups are present in a molecule simultaneously. It appears to me that clemmensens reduction and wolff kisher reaction seem to fail.

Reduction by wolff kisher reaction is the only one way to obtain alkane from aldehyd. Some functional groups may also react. Show please the structure of your compound to obtain exact answer and recommendations.
