If two stereoisomers will not be separated they both will show their respective properties
As R thalidomide used for treating nausea whereas S-thalidomide birth defects.
In similar manner racemic mixture of ibuprofen one has anti inflammatory action and one has analgesic action so it will show both depends on metabolic profiles.
