We are making 1L of a 2M solution and for that how many grams of sodium hydroxide we need , for that

We know that , 1M = 1mol /L and for this solution we have 1mol of sodium hydroxide in it.

And

Sodium hydroxide has molar mass of 40g/mol,so we would need in total

2mol . "\\frac{40g}{mol}" = 80g of NaOH.
