Oxidation of a primary alcohol containing an aromatic ring as a substituent to an aldehyde. State what is important about the reaction conditions to stop at the aldehyde.

We use mild oxidising agent( like pcc)

For Oxidation of primary alcohol to aldehyde if we use Strong oxidising agent like KMnO₄etc then primary alcohol to Carboxylic acid but for aldehyde we should use mild oxidising agent ( like pcc)
