1.Intramolecular forces are the forces that hold atoms together within a molecule i.e Metallic Bonding while Intermolecular forces are forces that exist between molecules i.e Van der Waals Forces.


2.The measure of the attraction of an atom in a molecule for a pair of electrons in a covalent bond.In a covalent bond between two atoms of the same element [e.g. H2 or Cl2], the pair of electrons is shared equally because both nuclei are the same.


3.1-We must have at least one polar bond or one lone pair on the central atom.

2-If there are more than one polar bond, they must be arranged in a way that their dipoles do not cancel.
