This Test is applicable to distinguish 1⁰ , 2⁰ and 3⁰ alcohol .

Given alcohol is 2⁰ .and its different isomers is 3⁰ and 1⁰ .

When This react with Lucas Reagent then 3⁰ give imidiate resul .

2⁰ give result after some time .

And 1⁰ give result after big time .
