Assertion-Allyl carbanion is more stable than CH2NO2


Reason-In CH2NO2 only -I effect of NO2 is there while in allyl carbanion resonance is present


Why is the assertion wrong?Isn't the reason right?When NO2 is attached with single bond to CH2 it should show only -I effect.
