Explain the chemistry of Indole and Benzopyrrole?

Indole or benzpyrole is aromatic heterocycle, which consists of fused benzene ring and pyrrole. Its chemical properties come from its structural peculiarities: in some reactions it behave like activated benzene, in other ones shows the properties of slightly deactivated pyrrole.
