we know molarity =(wt of solutex1000)/(mol wt of solutexvol of soln in ml)

initially:

4.5=(w×1000)(40×25)\frac{(w\times1000)}{(40\times25)}

=4.5g

now vol of soln becomes 750 ml

so molarity becomes:

(4.5×1000)(40×750)\frac{(4.5\times1000)}{(40\times750)}

=0.15M
