a)

If we put a copper tube in a solution of iron sulfate (2), the reaction will not occur, since the electrode potential of copper is greater than that of iron.

b)

If we put a zinc plate in a solution of iron sulfate (2), the reaction will go with the formation of a layer of iron on the zinc plate and the formation of zinc sulfate. Since the electrode potential of zinc is less than that of iron.
