1000 joules of energy are applied to two blocks that are exactly the same size and mass. Block A experiences a 1.0 temperature change where as Block B experiences a 11.0c temperature change. which of the two blocks is made of metal and which block is plastic and why?

Formula describing the amount of heat needed to heat up some material is as follows:
Q = cmΔT
With all other multipliers being the same greater temperature change with the same amount of energy applied means that the material with less temperature change has greater value of specific heat.
Normally metals have the least specific heat capacity. Therefore, the first cube is from plastic and the second one is from metal.
