Molarity shows number of moles of solute per 1000 ml of solution. 0.150M solution would contain 0.0150 moles of solute in 100 mL of solution. If we take 100.0 mL of water and add 0.0150 moles of solute the final volume of solution will be more than 100 mL because solute also has certain volume. So the final molarity will become less than 0.150 M.
