2NaOH + H2SO4 —> Na2SO4 + 2H2O

According to the above reaction, 2 mol of NaOH reacts to form 1 mole of Na2SO4. How many moles of Na2SO4 are formed when 9.9 moles of NaOH react:

2 mol NaOH — 1mol Na2SO4

9,9 mol NaOH — X mol Na2SO4

X = 9,9 * 1 / 2 = 4,95 mol

ANSWER: 4,95 mol Na2SO4
