In gases, the change in volume is directly proportional to temperature and inversely proportional to pressure. That is,

"\\cfrac V{ V_0} = \\cfrac T {T_0} = \\cfrac {P_0}P"

in the formula:

V – final volume(litres) = X;

V0 – initial volume(litres) =300cm3=30dm3= = 30 litres;

T – final temperature(K) = 35° C = 308 K;

T0 –initial temperature(K) = 27° C = 300 K;

P – final pressure(kPa) = 750 mmHg = 100 kPa;

P0 – initial pressure(kPa) = 700 mmHg = 93,3 kPa.

"V=\\cfrac {P_0V_0T} {PT_0} =\\cfrac{93,3*30*308}{100*300}= 28,75litres"

ANSWER: 28,75 litres or 287,5 cm3
