m(CaCO3) = 20 g;

M(CaCO3) = 100 g/mol;

M(HCl) = 36.5 g/mol;

n(CaCO3) = m(CaCO3)/M(CaCO3) = 20/100 = 0.2 mol;

2HCl + CaCO3 = CaCl2 + CO2 + H2O;

For chemical reaction:

n(HCl) = 2 * n(CaCO3) = 2 * 0.2 = 0.4 mol;

m(HCl) = n(HCl) * M(HCl) = 0.4 * 36.5 = 14.6 g.

Answer: 14.6 g.
