Mass of glycerol = 5g

Volume of water = 20 ml

Mass of water = 20 g

Molar mass of glycerol = 92 g/ mol

For boiling point of solution

ΔTb=Kbm\Delta T_b = K_bm

ΔTb=0.512×592×20×1000\Delta T_b = 0.512 × \frac{5}{92×20}×1000

ΔTb=1.39K\Delta T_b =1.39 K

And for freezing point

ΔTf=Kfm\Delta T_f= K_fm


ΔTf=1.86×2.71\Delta T_f= 1.86×2.71

ΔTf=5.05K\Delta T_f= 5.05 K
