Hi Good day

The question I had was how we could separate the two molecules from the mixed ones. For example, how can we separate the molecules of hydrogen and carbon monoxide?

A conventional process for separating hydrogen and carbon monoxide comprises a low temperature scrubbing step using liquid methane to dissolve carbon monoxide and produce a hydrogen-rich overhead product, a hydrogen stripping column or flash separator to separate residual hydrogen from the CO-loaded methane.
