How many Liters of water vapor could be made from 5 Liters of Methane gas?
The balanced equation is below:
CH4 + 2O2 --> CO2 + 2H2O
According to Avogadro's law, moles and volume of gases are directly proportional under same conditions. Therefore, if according to the equation 1 mole of methane produces 2 moles of water,
5 L of methane will produce "5\\times2=10\\ L" of water vapor.
Answer: 10 L
