1)To get the percentage by volume =

(14.2/75)×100=18.93%

2)To get the percentage of mass by volume.

To get the mass of the solute,

Mass=density × volume

Mass=0.793×14.2

Mass=11.26g

So percentage of mass by volume is

(11.26÷75)×100

=15%
