Ammonia, NH3, gas is manufactured by the Haber process where hydrogen gas is directly combined with nitrogen gas.
N2 (g) + H2(g)--------------NH3(g)
The reaction is:
"N_2 +3H_2 \\to 2NH_3"
From 1 mol of N2 2 mol NH3 is prepared in perfect presence of H2
Mol ratio is 1:2
1mol of any ideal gas at STP contains 22.4L of the ideal gas.
Hence, liters of nitrogen needed to produce 45 L of ammonia at STP will be,
"=45L NH_3 \u00d7\\frac{1LN_2}{2LNH_3} = 22.5LN_2"
