(a)Since work is done aginst vaccume = 0

Work done , W = PΔV

Where P = Pressure

ΔV= Change in Volume = V' - V

= 5.4 L - 1.6 L

= 3.8 L

= 3.8 × 10^-3m^3 (Since 1L^3 = 10^-3 m^3)
