Question #235843

A reaction takes place at a constant pressure of 1.10atm with an internal energy change of 71.5kj and a volume decrease of 13.6L. What is the enthalpy change for the reaction? (1L•atm = 101.325J)

∆H = m x s x ∆T

1.1 × 13.6 = 14.96

14.96 × 101.325 = 1515.822

1515.822 +71.5

= 1587.322J
