  1. A sealed container contains nitrogen gas. Use the kinetic theory to explain what happens to the pressure inside the container when the temperature is increased.

In ideal gas equation,

PV/T=constP*V/T=const

So in sealed conteiner V=constV=const. In this case,

P/T=constP/T=const

So when T increases P must also increase. It means that increase in temperature increases pressure.
