Actually the first part of the question is not related to the second part.

x=6.022×1023x=6.022\times10^{23} by definition because one mole of anything contains 6.022×10236.022\times10^{23} particles.


Atomic mass of Na is 23 (according to the periodic table), hence the number of moles in 46 g equals:

n=46g(Na)×1mol(Na)23g(Na)=2moln=46g(Na)\times\frac{1mol(Na)}{23g(Na)}=2mol
