1. Showers, also known as rain showers, have a shorter duration than rain. They tend to be quick and come in bursts. It is a common observation that when the sun comes out immediately after a rain shower, the puddles formed from the rain dries up faster than if it remains cloudy. Explain, on the molecular level, as to why this occurs. Consider or relate the concepts in General Chemistry II in
giving answers to the question.
Showers , also know as rain showers , have a shorter duration than rain . They tend to be quick and come in bursts . It is common observation that when the sun comes out immediately after a rain shower , the puddles formed the from the rains dries up faster than if it remains cloudy because rain usually covers a much larger area as compared to shower you have seen fortunate
when there is rain shower it dries up more quickly as compared to rain because in shower rain sun also comes simultaneously when it fall that's why it dries more quickly and if we understand this thing in molecular level a rain drop has large quantity of water in it , yes there are all other particles are present in it but usually rain drop content has more water and it dries more quickly in shower rain because sun has also been present in shower rain .showers rains in terms of occurence occur for a very short period of time and end up more quickly it starts often and ends up abruptly. In terms of origin, rain comes from stratus clouds, whereas showers are normally from cumulus cloud formations, That's why actual rain has present more particle in it.
