Three fluids are poured from a beaker onto a lab table. Fluid A hits the table in 10 seconds, fluid B in 12 seconds, fluid C in 4 seconds, and fluid D in 15 seconds. Which fluid has the highest viscosity?
Ans:-
The viscosity of the fluid is dependent on temperature, shear rate and time. Depending on how viscosity changes with time the flow behaviour is characterised as: rheopectic (time thickening, i.e. viscosity increases with time).
According to the Question We clearly seen that fluid C poured from beaker in 4 sec so it has lowest viscosity and fluid D poured from a beaker in 15 sec so it has highest viscosity.
