5. Compare your result with the accepted value of -217 kJ mol-1 by
calculating the percentage error in your answer.
6. List some possible reasons for any difference between your value and
the accepted value
Zn + CuSO4 = ZnSO4 + Cu
Enthalphy change of the reaction = -218.67KJ/mol
%error = -217/-218.67 × 100%= 77.89%
It could be as a result of heat lost or gained and also the calorimeter
